      <image:title>Danelle Terry</image:title>
<image:caption>Physiotherapist | BSc. Physiotherapy Danelle graduated with a Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy from Curtin University. As Danelle has played soccer since a young age, she is definitely no stranger to the impact of pain and injury, and therefore understands the benefit of physiotherapy. Her keen interest in sport and her desire to help others ultimately led her to her chosen career path in physiotherapy, with a strong interest in general musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports physiotherapy, and early intervention paediatric physiotherapy. Danelle believes it is important to take a holistic approach to treatment and management and ensures to bring each patient along as an active participant in their journey to recovery. As well as her role at West Coast Health Physio, Danelle is the lead physiotherapist at the Stirling Lions Soccer Club, has a strong background in sports training for both AFL and soccer, and has previously gained experience in injury prevention screening with the West Coast Eagles. In her spare time, Danelle enjoys playing soccer competitively, baking delicious treats, and spending quality time with friends and family.</image:caption>

<image:title>Kevin Wernli - Bachelor of Physiotherapy | PhD Low Back Pain</image:title>
<image:caption>Kevin is a physiotherapist with a PhD in low back pain. His PhD investigated how movement, posture, and psychological factors relate to low back pain (supervised by A/Prof. Peter Kent, Prof. Peter O’Sullivan, Prof. Anne Smith, and A/Prof. Amity Campbell). Kevin brings an evidence-informed approach to the management of musculoskeletal pain (with a particular interest in spinal pain). Spending over five years working alongside world-leading clinical researchers Professor Peter O’Sullivan and Dr JP Caneiro (PhD), Kevin uses a holistic approach to help understand the variety of factors that are known to contribute to pain. This type of ‘mind/body’ approach aims to help you make sense of why you hurt, provide you with practical strategies to help control your pain, and help address any lifestyle factors that may be relevant in your presentation, with the ultimate goal of empowering you to get back to living for good. He is also passionate about closing the evidence to practice gap (reported to be 17 years) by producing infographics, videos, and a top-rated podcast with world-renowned guests and patient advocates (called Empowered Beyond Pain). He also lectures at Curtin University, supervises research, and is the co-founder of a digital health start-up called Matilda which helps provide affordable access to holistic care for people with confirmed or suspected endometriosis. Outside of his career passions, Kevin enjoys the outdoors, the ocean, camping, videography, and spending time with friends and family.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Shane Troy - Physiotherapist</image:title>
<image:caption>Shane lives and breathes sport, having been head physiotherapist for the Lakeside Lightning NBL1 program since 2020 and Southern Lions Premier Grade rugby union since 2023, RugbyWA Emerging Academy lead physio 2023-24, Western Force Super Rugby U16s head physio 2023-24, along with tournament duties for Cricket ACT and Basketball WA. He has had a varied and successful sporting career in Surf boats, Volleyball and club AFL Football. He has taken up ultramarathon running which is a great excuse to spend a few hours out in the bush. (He also loves working with runners as silly as he is). He has completed postgraduate research into ACL injuries, and returning athletes back to performance after serious knee injury is a key clinical interest. However, he gains just as much satisfaction in helping “everyday” people navigate pain and injury, understand their bodies and help them return to the activities they love.</image:caption>

<image:title>Zac Olsen - Physiotherapist I graduated from the Curtin University School of Allied Health with my Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy). Prior to returning to study physiotherapy, I qualified as a mechanical engineer and worked in the oil and gas industry for 10 years, but found myself constantly looking for ways to apply my engineering knowledge to help people, particularly in the area of their health. I have long had a passion for all things sports and am fascinated by the mechanics of the human body, so it became evident that physiotherapy was the perfect profession to combine these interests and make a difference in the lives of others. I enjoy diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. I am particularly interested in upper and lower limb injuries, sports injuries and rehabilitation, and the use of resistance training for injury prevention and rehabilitation. Outside of physiotherapy, I am involved in strength sports and enjoy playing recreational basketball. I’m grateful for the opportunity I have at West Coast Health Physiotherapy to make a positive impact in the local and wider community</image:title>
